Welcome to CHS Grade 9 Vocal

This site is intended primarily for parents to keep on top of what students are to be doing on a daily/weekly basis.

Google Classroom will always be the number one stop for students for all materials and announcements so students should be checking the Google Classroom daily.

Parents are asked to review the materials on this site so that they are also aware of all that is being asked of the students.

As a starting point, all students should be doing the following activities daily:

1. Warm-up

2. Practise scales (two new scales added each week)

3. SightReadingFactory (online sight-reading with new assignments daily)

4. Breezin'ThruTheory (daily drills and practice; new drills added daily)

There will be other tasks daily but these are the regular constants required for development of musicianship.

We are doing things quite differently than usual and that's okay. Our goal is to give the students the best possible experience under the current circumstances...we want to give them every opportunity to improve their technique and their musicianship skills.
