What's on? Week of 26 Oct 2020

Hi folks - 

Here's the update for what this week will look like:

1. Vocalise assignment: score analysis is due on 28 Oct but may be submitted at any time...this work should be completed by now as we've done this all in class. You are to upload images of your work to Google Drive, and then insert the images on the Vocalise assignment document from Google Classroom.

2. Solo project: All of part 1, "The analysis" is due on 28 Oct but may be submitted at any time...this work should be completed by now as we've done this all in class. You are to upload images of your work to Google Drive, and then insert the images on the Solo assignment document from Google Classroom.

3. Dona nobis pacem: using the backing track (found in Google Classroom) make an audio recording of your voice only (we don't want to hear the piano backing track in your recording.). Everyone will sing through the entire piece TWICE.

4. Theory/ET: we will have another theory test and ear training test on Friday...exact same material as before.

5. Vocalise: continue to use your Noteflight learning track to practice...being sure to use the IPA vowels, your breathing plan, and exaggerated dynamics...and a solid "sliding legatississimo"! If you have learned your piece very well you may now start to work with the piano accompaniment track.
